Assalamu-Alaikum. Alhamdulillah, New Horizon School–LA is accomplishing its mission of providing quality academic education and raising God conscious children in an Islamic environment. As we are in the blessed month of Ramadan and during this month Allah (S.W.T) has asked us to pay Zakat, I request you brothers and sisters, to pay your Zakat to our school. Yes, Zakat can be paid to Islamic Schools. In this way our obligation is fulfilled and the school is also helped. Please pass on this request to other families and friends as well.

Yes, you can as it is paid for a service that is of teaching Islam and protecting our children from a contaminated atmosphere. The recipient of zakat when paid for Muslim schools is one of the eight recipients mentioned in verse 60 of sura 9, "In the cause of Allah. "Everything spent for Islamic work could be included in that category of recipients.
