Her essay was chosen among many essays written by students from several full-time Islamic Schools in the U.S.  New Horizon School – Los Angeles’ administration, faculty, staff and community give a hearty congratulations to 5th grader, Rahma Sudarmadji on her achievement!"

It is with pleasure and pride that we announce that Hamidou Guetchtouli was the winner in the 2013 West Coast ISNA Education Forum Essay Contest. His essay was chosen among many essays written by students from full-time Islamic Schools in the West coast region. The West coast ISNA Education Forum Committee wrote to Hamidou as follows,“Your thoughtful, well-written essay described some of the qualities of a good leader. We cannot overstate our admiration of your ability to articulate the values taught to you at your Islamic School. With young Muslims like you in our communities, we know that the future of our Ummah remains bright, Insh’Allah”
