• Our annual Hajj Simulation is on Thursday, November 3, 2011.
• Eid-ul-Adha is on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011.
• Eid-ul-Adha holiday is on Monday, November 7, 2011. There will be no school.
• Tuesday, November 8, 2011 is Eid Fun Day and the all school field trip to Chuck-e-
Cheese.
• Friday, November 11, 2011 is the QuikScience Challenge SOS Rally at USC for the 6th graders competing in this challenge from 8:00am to 1:30pm.
• Friday, November 18, 2011 is our first Family Night - “Costume Party and Talent Show.”
• Monday & Tuesday, November 21-22 will be normal school days.
• Wednesday, November 23 is a faculty work day. There is no school.
• In observance of Thanksgiving, there is no school on Thursday & Friday, November 24 - 25, 2011. School will resume on Monday, November 28, 2011.
• Tuesday, November 29, 2011 is the Islamic New Year Celebration.
• Wednesday, November 30, 2011 is the annual Drawing & Painting Festival.

 

Religious Studies Midterms are on Wed., October 5.

The 2nd - 6th graders will be going to the Anatolian Festival on Thursday, October 6, 2011 in Costa Mesa.

Arabic Midterms are on Friday, October 7, 2011.

The first PTO Meeting of the year is next Friday, October 7, 2011.

Monday, October 10, 2011 is a Faculty Workday - School will be closed.

Fall Midterms are Tuesday, October 11 - Friday, October 14, 2011.

The Cookie & Wrapping Paper ends on Friday, October 14, 2011. Be sure to turnin all paperwork and checks on-time!

Annual Awards Dinner honouring Mr. Muhammad Abdul Aleem is Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Wilshire Grand in LA.

The Pre-S - 1st Grade students are going to
the LA Zoo on Wed, Oct 19, at 10:15am.

Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10:20am NHS - LA will participate in the Southern California Shakeout earthquake preparation drill.

Friday, October 21, 2011 will be a regular school day for Pre-S - Kdg students. School will be closed for the Elementary students only.

Parent - Teacher Conferences begin Monday, October 24, 2011. Please sign-up for a time slot between 3:00 - 4:30 pm.
